Instead of Food for Thought... Here's Some Health for Thought
Let's be realistic -- if you are, or have been kind of a big person for most of your life, the chances of losing major weight are low. When I say "big," I'm referring your bodys frame and not rolls of extra or bulgy skin. You can lose the rolls of fatty skin, don't get me wrong, but your skeletal frame cannot be taken in unless you resort to corseting or some other figure control system.
Weight loss pills are only advertised by fit people to give the illusion of being able to get skinny. If you ever look at their frames they are naturally small, and wouldn't need to take some miracle pill to get rid of their belly button pudge.
Everyone is insecure about one thing or another on their body that sometimes others do not notice. Unless you are slight to morbidly obese, then for some reason it becomes everyone business. Don't change just to please them unless you really want to. Everyone has standards for how the people around them should look, and so long as you don't feed into that, you will be fine.
Excising is good for your body because it causes a good circulation of blood and oxygen strengthening your limbs and making you feel better. However, if you are exercising regularly every day and one day stop, your body has to adjust to the change and since you are used to say, going for a three mile run or boning your fitness instructor. Then yes, you will not burn off those fat cells merely because your body adapts to change at it's own pace. If you do not stay regular about working out, then yes, your fat cells will begin to accumulate. Thus your pugde will lose control.
Don't track what you eat. Hello!! Just eat healthy... but not too healthy all the time. If your body is use to digesting only the healthy stuff (just like exercising), your body will end up panicking and store the fats happily. The only thing you should keep track of is how much alcohol you consume at any one time.
Plants are tougher for our bodies to breakdown thanks to the cell wall, and will cause gas and abdominal pressure. Skip the garden salad when you go out and have something with more protein if you plan on working out later.
Self confidence is not hard to find if you like how you look then enjoy it. You are your only enemy if you let what someone else thinks of you affect you then why bother complaining about how you look. They will only tear you down with pity towards your feelings.
Our bodies send simple alerts to our brains; however, you have to understand your body more than you understand the alphabet in order to effectively cause healthy change within. You will get signals of discomfort and you have to decide what they mean. How everyone understands their body is different, which is why some people's weight loss plans work for them and not you. Some people see what works and continue it, but you may have to try a bunch of different ways to get to your goal weight. But first, you have to learn to understand what gives you the results you want!
