Montauk Monster in Plum Island, Was it a Raccoon?

Montauk Monster in Plum Island, Was it a Raccoon?

Montauk Monster

After several years of investigating what really was the monster Montauk, investigators want people to believe that the body of the dead strange animal found on the shores was a raccoons.
Though hard to believe, the Montauk monster story had shocked millions of Americans who were convinced that it was a creature from the seas.
Two men who then reported it to the authorities found the body of an unidentified creature in Plum Island in 2008.
Authorities branded the creature the “Montauk Monster” since it was found in the business district of Montauk, New York.
The Creature’s dead body had been washed ashore, and lay prostrate, dead, on the beach near Montauk, New York.
Stories doing rounds about this creature have not provided an exact description or biological description of the creature. However, many want to believe it was a dead raccoon.
If there comes a supporting theory, and marine biologists confirm a similar creature or a close relative of this Montauk monster, then the mystery will be resolved.
