Inspectah Deck Is Not Dead, But Listening Skills Are

Last night during the BET Awards, Inspectah Deck, of Wu Tang Clan fame, became the latest celebrity to join the Internet Death Rumors club. But now everyone can relax, because Inspectah Deck is alive. The rumor started after the first cypher on last night's show, which featured the Inspectah's fellow Wu Tang alum Raekwon. At the end of Raekwon's verse he asked DJ Premier to stop the music and said, "Yo, rest in peace to my brother from the Wu, Inspectah Deck."

That's when people stopped listening and started freaking out. They Tweeted things like: "Inspectah Deck died??? WTF, confused right now." But if those who started pouring some out would have listened a little longer, they would have heard Raekwon say. "His old earth. His mother. Ms. Jason Hunter. Mrs. Hunter, we love you. Rest in peace." Yes, the Chef was talking about Inspectah Deck's mom. See kids, this is what happen when you don't listen.
