Samsung Galaxy Tab in Romania Has a Porn Button; Don’t Get Ideas, It’s the Start Button, Silly!

The much–anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab will be shipping to Romania equipped with a ‘Porn’ button. Take a look at the Romanian language interface of the Samsung Galaxy Tab with the ‘Porn’ button.

It is clearly visible from the screenshot above that the home button on the tablet has “Porn” written under it. But it’s not what you think. The pressing of the button does not lead to any porn sites nor will it stream any sexy movies. The button is just the ‘start’ button.

Someone at Samsung decided to make ‘Porn’ as the abbreviated form of the word ‘Pornire’, which means ‘start’ in the Romanian language.

This information, which seems to be an unintentional mistake of the UI translators, was found by the folks of Mobilissimo.ro, as they checked out the tablet during a promotional tour of the device in the Eastern European country.

Just to remind you, the 7-inch tablet will debut in the UK on November 1st. It will be equipped with features such as a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash on the back side, 512 MB RAM and a 1GHz Hummingbird processor.
