Movie Review: Disney Channel’s Avalon High

We saw Disney Channel’s new premiere movie Avalon High last night(12th November). Avalon High is based on a novel with the same name by Meg Cabot. The Movie was better than we had expected, everything about the movie was was just perfect.

Story starts when Allie Pennington(Brittany Robertson) moves to a new area and joins her new high school Avalon High. This school is not an ordinary school as  the activities of King Arthur’s period are to be rehearsed! A slight indication is given towards King Arthur in the start as the all characters are introduced including Miles(Merlin), Lance (Lancelot) and Jen (Genevieve).

The movie had great twists and that is one of the main reasons we thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Allie being King Arthur was a complete surprise to us. Acting and Direction at this level was nearly perfect and the length of the movie was appropriate in our opinion. The last fight could have been a little harder to make the movie interesting.

If we were to rate the movie we will give it a solid 9.
