A non-glamorous look for Katrina in ‘Satsang’

The ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ Katrina Kaif, who sizzled the nation with the raunchy item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ from Tees Maar Khan, is now all geared up to play a sober, non-glamorous role.
According to latest tabloid reports, Prakash Jha has roped in Katrina for the lead role in his upcoming flick ‘Satsang’.
He wanted Katrina to play the protagonist in the film, as Jha felt she had the looks needed for the character. However, the role was so intricate that even Jha was in no doubt whether the actress would be able to do justice to the role or not.
It was only during the making of ‘Raajneeti’ that Jha comprehended the actress’s talent and finalized her for the role.
After being roped in for the role, Katrina said, "It would be the most challenging part of my career so far," says Katrina, who played a pivotal character in the director's ‘Raajneeti’.
Katrina’s character in ‘Satsang’
In the upcoming flick ‘Satsang’, Katrina will be portraying a challenging character. She will be playing the role of a woman hailing from West, who is in search of mysticism.
All set to play this tough role, Katrina said, "Prakashji and I have discussed the part in detail. This is one film that I've done the most preparation for. I'm open to the challenge."
Katrina’s secret, sacred expedition
It is learnt that recently Katrina Kaif showed how devout she is by taking a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges, in Haridwar. The actress, who was shooting for Yash Raj’s ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ over there, didn’t mind taking out sometime for this holy deed.
A source close to Katrina said, "Kat was planning to visit Haridwar for a long time. But she couldn't take time off from shooting.
“Since she was shooting for Yash Raj Films' Mere Brother Ki Dulhan in North India, she decided it would be the best time to visit the holy place."
Among the other holy places which the actress has visited in the past include Shirdi, the Golden Temple, and the Ajmer Sharif dargah.
