Versatile actress Kajol at the music launch event of her forthcoming film ‘Toonpur Ka Superrhero’ on Wednesday, said that she firmly believes, her actor husband Ajay Devgan is the most accomplished and versatile actor in Bollywood today.

"I personally think Ajay is the most versatile actor that we have today. He has been successful in all genres - whether comedy or drama," said the actress, who married Ajay in 1999.

It’s highly unlikely that anyone will be questioning Kajol’s statement any time soon as Ajay has more than once proved that he’s not just capable of doing action films, but is quite good at playing serious, comic and even romantic roles with aplomb.

This year alone, five of Ajay’s films released and each one belonged to different genre.

While ‘Golmaal 3’ and ‘Atithi Tum…’ were comedies, ‘Raajneeti’ was a political thriller. ‘OUATIM’ was an underworld story, and ‘Aakrosh’, which unfortunately failed to make a mark, was an issue-based film on honor killings.

Kajol prefers real Ajay

Since Kajol had made it clear that Ajay, in her opinion, is the best actor in the industry, media present at the event was eager to know which character of Ajay (from his movies) is her favorite.

"I'm very impressed with Ajay Devgan in real life (more) than any of his on screen characters,” said the actress, who has the reputation of not mincing her words.

‘Toonpur Ka…’ is Ajay and Kajol’s third film together after films like ‘Raju Chacha’ and ‘U, ME Aur Hum'.

Besides the husband-wife, the film also features Mukesh Tiwari, Tanuja, Raza Murad, Ameya Pandya and Chinky Jaiswal and is directed by Kireet Khurana. The entire cast and crew of the film (releasing on Dec. 24) was present at the music launch event.

When asked, if she or her hubby is worried about the competition their film might end up facing from Akshay-Katrina starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan', releasing on the same day, both husband and wife revealed that they are not least bit worried as they have made a good film and rest is up to audience.
