The Pakistani Begum Nawazish Ali, a transvestite, is a very popular controversial figure. That is how she made it to the Big Boss. Veena Malik on the other hand is best described as a supporting actor. She has been accused of being an immoral character. You can read that in Wikipedia (which we admit is not very reliable). Last we know of her is the scandal with cricketer Mohammad Asif. The grapevine is that she was an escort for him and Veena says that she was his girl friend. Whatever, the truth may be, she is controversial enough to be in Big Boss. We do not want to praise or tarnish Begum or Veena. The above is facts, that can be found on internet. It is the Big Boss set that is of more concern to us.
On Big Boss, we saw two different personalities from Pakistan. Begum Nawazish Ali was very dignified and Veena Malik has been the but of all criticism for her raunchy behavior. There have been fans for Veena too. We see a limited comments by very few people on this site, in favor of Veena. One of the commentators made a failed bid to equate Veena Malik to Shilpa Shetty. Some Indian commentators were favorable on Veena too, but, we are not sure if they are Pakistani commentators with Indian names and free email id’s.
Veena, as per the commentators, which we consider the mood of the people, has tried to flirt with Ashmit Patel, Hrishant Goswami, Salman Khan and now Big Boss himself. She also issued a marriage proposal on the Big Boss set. Pamela Anderson was more inclined to Veena Malik, because she is involved in charities. So, we have very diverse opinions on Veena Malik.
Commentators have also said that Big Boss is partial to Veena Malik and that’s how she survived so long. Begum Nawazish Ali is more of a victim of Indian politics as some parties did not want Pakistanis in.
