Explosion on Movie Set near Vancouver
The explosion occurred on the set of Dungeon Siege 2, which stars Dolph Lundgren. It's filming in Golden Ears Provincial Park in Maple Ridge, B.C. The town is about 40 minutes east of Vancouver.
All victims have been transported to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Maple Ridge Fire Department Chief Dane Spence told The Canadian Press the injured appeared to be suffering from burns.
An air ambulance had been called but was cancelled when the victims were all found to be conscious.
Spence said early reports suggest the blast occurred as propane was being transferred from a tanker to portable cylinders.
The film is a sequel to the 2008 film "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale," a movie inspired by the Dungeon Siege video games.
