Fantasy (PHOTO) Album For Sale

The album John Lennon autographed for his killer Mark David Chapman on the day he was murdered is up for sale.
The current owner has decided to sell the signed Double Fantasy record for a staggering $850,000 (£567,000) after receiving death threats since purchasing the LP.
Autograph dealer Gary Zimet tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "The album is the most extraordinary artifact in rock 'n' roll history. It has Lennon's signature on the cover and Chapman's forensically enhanced finger prints on the sleeve. There are evidence markings from the NYPD.

"I originally sold it in 1999, but it has come back up for resale. The current owner doesn't want to be named because he received death threats."
The rocker signed the record for Chapman outside his New York City apartment building on 8 December, 1980. He was shot dead by Chapman when he returned five hours later.
The album was later discovered near the murder scene by a maintenance man and handed over to cops. (c) WENN
