Texmelucan Hit by Mexico Pipeline Explosion: At Least 28 People Dead! 

What Happened?

In Texmelucan, a Mexican pipeline had caused a violent explosion on Sunday. It is expected that the Texmelucan explosion has killed at least 28 people, which included 13 children. Authorities blamed the Mexico pipeline explosion on oil thieves.

If the Mexican authorities were correct in their assumption, greed was the cause for the deaths in Mexico this weekend. This is such a tragedy that this explosion has claimed the lives of so many people. It is most tragic that the lives of precious, innocent children have been killed, because of the greedy nature of men.

The Mexico pipeline explosion has affected approximately 5,000 residents in a three-mile radius. Texmelucan experienced scorched cars and homes. Metal and pavement has been twisted by the intense heat. Some metal or pavement was burned to ashes. Incredible!

As firefighters rescued charred and dead bodies from the Texmelucan homes, loved ones and friends cried and hugged one another. Some of the bodies were no more than piles of ash.

Officials identified four dead bodies by Sunday night. However, many more bodies need to be identified from the Texmelucan wreckage. Some names have been released, but it is not known if the names are residents of the exploded homes, or if the names are possible suspects in the Mexico pipeline explosion.

Zoyla Perez Cortes, 27, is a housewife in Texmelucan. She explained that she had woken up at 5:30 am to an overpowering smell of gasoline. She explained that within minutes her street “looked like it was flowing in tar and then erupted in flames. Her husband knocked down a wall allowing them to escape out the back of their two-story, cement-brick home with their three children.”

Hopefully Mexican authorities will quickly find the culprit of the Mexico pipeline explosion in Texmelucan. This is such a disturbing story of greed. Undoubtedly, the thieves did not anticipate 28 deaths when they were trying to steal oil from the pipeline. However these are the consequences of greed for money. May the perpetrators find themselves in prison for the remainder of the life!
