R n B singer Jason Derulo has claimed the top spot with his new release




(Reuters) - Multi-platinum R'n'B singer and songwriter Jason Derulo went straight to number one in the singles charts, the Official Charts company said Sunday.

The 21-year-old from Miami, who started out as a songwriter for other big-name acts, went to the top of the charts with "Don't Wanna Go Home" which he co-wrote with producers The Fliptones.

Dropping down one to number two was Example and their song "Changed the Way you Kiss Me."

Another new entrant at number seven was Dutch dirty house DJ and producer Vato Gonzalez whose single "Badman Riddim (Jump) featured Britain's hip hop and grime collective Foreign Beggars.

In the album charts, Lady Gaga's album "Born this Way" returned to number one for a second spell after spending the past two weeks at number three
