Simon Cowell is apparently fearing a viewer backlash against Britain's Got Talent favourite Ronan Parke tonight's (June 4) final. The show supremo is worried that online allegations that the final has already been fixed in Parke's favour will hamper the chances of the 12-year-old winning the talent contest, reports the Daily Mail.

On last night's (3) semi-final broadcast, Cowell warned that the "liar" behind the "deliberate smear campaign" will soon be exposed.

"The first time I met Ronan was the first time he appeared on this show. He entered the show of his own accord. He is 12 years old," he said of rumours that Parke had a previous recording contract with his record label Syco.

Earlier this week, a spokesman for Cowell issued a similar warning, stating that Syco and Sony Music "will not hesitate to take whatever legal action is appropriate to prevent further publication of these unfounded allegations".

Parke will go up against the likes of street dancer Razy Gogonea and singer Michael Collins in tonight's final, which is due to be broadcast on ITV 1 at 7pm (BST), with the result announced at 9.30pm.
