Just when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was basking in the spotlight after her pregnancy news was splashed on the web by pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, the media is now abuzz with news of her seemingly unprofessional dealings with Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar, leaving him in the lurch since the announcement for the movie was made in May at Cannes.
Insiders claim that Madhur is upset with the five-month pregnant Ash (this after Abhishek tweeted that it will be a November baby!) for not people news flash keeping him in the loop about the pregnancy despite filming for ten days, burning his pocket by close to Dh3 million. “He feels betrayed that Ash kept him in the dark,” reveals an insider.
Although Madhur and production house UTV announced the decision to shelve Heroine citing Ash’s health, Ash is furious at the way things have turned out, especially after she had offered to work until the end of July. But Madhur wasn’t ready to budge, citing Ash’s “overweight and unglamorous” look could ruin his movie.
